Webber and Grinnell Leads the 2015 United Way Campaign
For the second straight year, Webber and Grinnell is setting the pace for the United Way of Hampshire County’s annual fundraising campaign.
Bill Grinnell is co-chairing this year’s drive, themed ”Change is in our Hands,” with Amy Royal of Royal LLP in Northampton. Bill also co-chaired last year and is happy to report that last year’s campaign exceeded its fundraising goals. A target of $1.3 million has been set for 2015 to fund local services supporting health and safety, economic security and family and youth.
“I really like the fact that so much of the community takes part,” Bill said of the United Way campaign. “The whole community is involved in assessing where there is the greatest need, and it’s a team effort to raise and allocate the funds.”
Webber and Grinnell is a United Way pacesetter, providing a head start with employee pledges made in the first 30 days. A pancake breakfast kick-off this fall built momentum at the agency. Creative new ideas, like a vacation-day auction, helped boost staff donations.
As co-chair, Bill’s role is to help others in the community achieve fundraising success. He meets with local business leaders to share strategies for bringing renewed enthusiasm and energy to their workplace drives. Give Bill a call if you have questions about your company’s campaign – he’d love to help!
