For
any type of property loss
(this
includes real property, like buildings or contents, as well
as equipment, merchandise or money and securities), the policy
conditions require you to: |

Notify the police in the event of a theft or as a result of a crime. |

• |
Notify the carrier immediately by contacting the company or us directly. |
|
• |
Protect your damaged property against further loss. |
|
• |
Cooperate with the Insurer to obtain information they require- including complete lists of inventories of the damaged & undamaged or missing property, costs, values. (Do NOT discard any damaged property). Give them the right to inspect the property. Allow them to question you or your employee regarding details of the claim, including reviewing your books and records. This includes signing a sworn statement of loss. |

Allow the Carrier to request an examination “under oath” of facts related to the loss. |

Show evidence of the loss - Proof includes: time & date of the loss, your interest and others in the property, the insurable cash value of the property and amount of loss you are claiming, any encumbrances on the property, any other insurance you might already have in place, what the nature of the occupancy of the premises is, and any changes in the title, use, location or possession of the property. |
| For any type of liability loss, the policy
conditions require you to: |

Notify the carrier immediately of any possible liability claim, especially any slips and falls on your premises. |
|
• |
Notify the carrier immediately if you have received any legal documents from an outside attorney. |
